Shaun & Laetitia

Before I say anything about the wedding or the couple, please read this letter the couple sent to us the day after the wedding:

Dearest Andreas, Jacques and Charl,

Words will never be enough to tell you how amazing it was having you guys at our wedding. You were not only professional, but also kind and humble. It has been a wonderful experience, nothing like we expected. Pulling funny faces, waving. laughter and buckets full of tears will probably be abundant on our video. Thank you so much not just for standing behind the camera but having the guts to strike a pose. You are truly wonderful people and you do a fantagmogoriese good job. Best wishes, Die Britse

Wow, that is probably the nicest letter we have ever received, and so quickly after the wedding. This couple was truly special, Laetitita is the happiest person on this planet, there is nobody that can beat this. She was so kind to us, making sure that we have enough to drink and are properly fed. Really amazing! Shaun, ditto, what a great guy and so much fun. Couples like them make us love our job. Everybody at the wedding was so nice and friendly. Laetitia did all the organizing of the wedding herself, and we must admit, it was out of this world well done. The venue was Jan Harmsgat se Agterplaas, first we had no clue what to expect but when saw the venue, all we could say was that it was weirdly amazing. It felt like a scene out of Alice in wonderland, or simply a different world, really cool. Let’s sum it up, because I am sure you can’t wait to see their clip. Our favorite couple of all times, very hard to beat! A cool wedding party, the MC sounded like she should be at the Oscars and all in all perfectly done! Awesome make-up artists, before I forget, Twin Lifestyle, they don’t only look great their work is amazing. Photos were taken by Ben & Carolien, a very cool photographer couple.

Johan & Franciske

Another wedding we only have great memories of. The perfect venue, Avianto in Muldersdrift, an amazing wedding planner Alet Wessels and a brilliant couple. What else do  you need for a grand wedding day. Oh ya, a good photographer, which they also had, our friend Christiaan David. The photos are out of this world, as I always say, he is the master of light! First thing that we recognized, of course, were the very good looking bridesmaids. One of them looked just like Marylin Monroe, we were trying so hard to get a flying dress shot This couple was probably the most in love we have ever seen, at no time would you have to ask them to pose for a kiss, we got lots of good footage as they were always relaxed and happy. That’s the most important anyways. The crowd was ready to cause some damage on the dance floor and everybody had a great time. What a day, a wedding well organized and before I forget, the best chocolates as a gift for the guests, even all of us got a box, very cool, thank you guys!

{Kevin + Janie} & {Roy + Michelle} = Double Wedding

Alright,  the title might be a bit confusing, so let me explain what is cooking here. Well, it’s actually 100% accurate, it was a double wedding. Kevin & his sister Michelle decided along with their finances to get married on the same day, at the same time at the same wedding. Yes, that’s exactly what happened. Before we continue here, I need to share with you this letter that we got from the couple, this is why we love our job:

Hi guys,

We want to thank you for everything you did at our wedding! We really appreciate everything you did, your professionalism was highly appreciated!!! You guys are the best videographers EVER!!! You made us feel so special and comfortable!!! We absolutely enjoyed every moment and can’t wait to relive it through the fantastic video you took! – Kevin, Janie, Roy & Michelle

This says it all, it’s good to love and to be loved Thank you guys, you rock! We were very excited and honoured to be part of this celebration. It seems that Hauke has become the number 1 choice for grand weddings, which makes us very proud. Obviously, we were up for this challenge. We had 4 camera operators to make sure both brides and grooms were covered. The venue was very cool, right on a dam. The weather was picturous and the couples were just amazing….four “I do”‘s was  a record for us in less than a minute. The wedding was full of excitement and the couples enjoyed themselves to the fullest. Our friend Michel Tree and Jaco took their awesome photos, well done senior Tree!

Akshay & Smita

2011 was the year of the Royal Wedding in the UK but South Africa had their “own” Royal Wedding, the event of the year. Akshay & Smita’s wedding was the ultimate and greatest wedding we have seen. The guest list was endless, the atmosphere was mind blowing and the people were just amazing. We had the honor to be part of all 3 days to capture the moments of this wonderful wedding. We almost feel part of the family now since we spent so much time with their family and they made us feel so comfortable. There are a million things I can say about the wedding and how great it was but we are visual people and express ourselves in our films. There are 3 clips of this wonderful wedding, the actual wedding, hurdee ceremony & mendhi ceremony. Each day was special and a new experience for us. On the wedding day we revealed the music video we shot with the couple and it was a huge success, mainly because the couple were amazing actors. They did a brilliant job! The suppliers were all the top suppliers in the country which made us feel very special. Our friend from Cape Town Jean-Pierre Uys took their amazing photos, well he is a world class photographer and its always great working with him.

Waldo & Lane

Waldo & Lané booked quite a while ago and we were very excited to film their special day. Lané was organized from top to bottom, something I like a lot. No surprises, everything was in place which makes our work more enjoyable. She even made sure we were seated at the table with her german friends, which was very cool. Everything worked out perfectly on the day and we got really amazing shots as the location was perfect. The reception was at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria and its surroundings was magnificent. As soon as all the formalities were done the party was heating up. It’s so great to have an amazing couple like them as clients. Guys, a wedding well done! Photos were taken by our longtime friend Irma Bosch, we were so happy to work with her and her hubby again.

Eugene & Bonita

All you need is love…..was the motto of this wedding. Eugen & Bonita were dating for over 10 years before they decided to tie the knot, or before she decided she was ready for the big step A couple like them is very unique and actually the best couple any supplier can wish for. Everything was organized from top to bottom and so perfectly. We had our own supplier table, even with a a gift for all of us. If you treat your suppliers well, they will be your best friends I can’t say enough how much we LOVE Bonita & Eugene, they are the ultimate couple and if we would have to write down what kind of couples are the best to film, I am just going to show their video in the future….And their entire family was so nice to us, what can I say. La vie est belle. The best part ever, I almost forgot, we did a trash the dress right after the first dance, the couple jumped into the Spa pool, that was so awesome!!!! To conclude, congrats Bonita & Eugene, you guys rock! Our Studio on Club buddy Christiaan David took their amazing photos. Well done, man!

Sarvesen & Luveshni

This was our first Hindu Tamil wedding and we just LOVED it. Wow, what an amazing experience to be part of, it was really such a cool vibe…all the details, the traditions, the people….I can go on and on, lets say we were overwhelmed. We already know that the Indian culture is amongst the most friendly in the world and Sarvesen & Luveshni and their entire family made us part of this spectacular day and made us feel we are part of the family, which of course, was great! As I was standing just next to the stage, I wasn’t aware of all the fire and smoke and only realized later that the incense stick was just below my tripod and I was wondering where all the smoke came from And the guru was very cool, I think you need a lot of practice to remember all the steps of the ceremony and what to burn when. All in all an amazing experience. Our studio buddy Christiaan David took the photos, what can I say, brilliant as usual.

Alan & Colette

Pretty girls surround themselves with pretty girls. We can definitely confirm this after we filmed Alan & Colette’s wedding. Wow, the bride looked like she came out of a magazine and her bridesmaids added some more attractiveness to the picture. Even Alan’s younger brother talked about the talent during his amazing best man speech. By the way, the best speech we have ever heard, this young fellow will definitely be popular with the ladies He said he wished he would be 10 years older seeing how pretty the bridesmaids were. Alan’s dad said the same thing in reverse, he wishes he would be 40 years younger What great event it was, if we quote from weddings that means it was an awesome wedding. The opening dance was epic and well executed. The venue was awesome and the party crowd was jamming to the music. Food was exquisite, well chosen and plated….as you can already read from our comments we really thought this wedding was exceptional. Also, the couple was amazing. they were relaxed, no issues and just enjoyed every single minute of their wedding day. Our good friends from Tyme Photography shot their awesome wedding photos. Well done guys, always so cool to work with you!

Thank you for everything! Alan and I are just blown away by the DVD – we can’t stop watching it and showing it to all our friends.

Ravindran & Prisha

Dear Wedding Diary, today we had an AWESOME wedding. Small, intimate, cultural with a touch of glamour. Alright, I won’t continue with the dear diary stuff, I personally never had one –  the girls did and it was very boring to read although I know i wasn’t to suppose to read it Anyway, back to the wedding, it was a cultural mix between Christian and Hindu, which I call a very cool combo. The couple kept their guest list short and sweet and made a huge success out of their wedding day. You could see they are technology geniuses, they had a live feed from Australia via skpype where Prishas sister and her family did a speech. Very cool, almost felt like an Oprah episode, not that I watch the show and therefore I won’t know anything about it:) The venue was grand, the Fairway Hotel & Spa. A world class venue, from food to service, I like! Suppliers were well chosen, sorry my head just fell of my body, got too big Alright, I am actually referring to the photographers from Fisheye. Hannie & her partner really did an amazing job, and it’s so much fun working with them. The crowd was ready to take the roof off and Ravi & Prisha truly enjoyed themselves. Another awesome December wedding!

Sa’ad & Nabeela

An extremely good looking bride makes for an awesome DVD ! This was definitely the case for Sa’ad & Nabeela’s wedding. Ok Sa’ad, you also cleaned up well.  The couple was so ready for their big day and so was their entire family. Their guest list hit the 800 mark which is pretty much the entire family and a few friends as the couple explained:) Well, I always thought I have a big family but the only way I can invite so many people is if I invite all my Facebook contacts (and some I don’t really know ) Needless to say, the event was grand, glamorous and chic. The guests were so friendly and everybody kept on complementing us on the good work we are doing – gotta love an ego booster like this. I can understand now why Nabeela and Sa’ad invited their entire family, they are really an awesome crowd. This was the first time we worked with Seybrand Cilie together and it was great. What a cool guy and brilliant photographer, after we saw the photos we immediately invited him in our hall of fame, the top photographer’s list. Our rule is simple, we need to first work with a photographer, he or she needs to be better than awesome..and if we gel well they are on our list. We only want the best for our brides so they need to have the X-Factor. Alright, I admit, I stole the term from the show, isn’t it amazing how the americans turn an old concept like pop idol, call it X-Factor, do minor changes and make a big success
